Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be rich? The type of rich where money never was an issue. The type of rich that allowed you to buy your dream car (& hopefully the hot girl in the front seat too). The type of rich that allowed you to rent the sickest penthouse suite in Vegas with your boys for an entire week. The type of rich that allowed you to contribute to countless charities of your choice. The type of rich that gave you freedom.
Well, a large majority of the population wishes they could be that rich. Rich enough to own a private island even. Guess what majority of the population, now you can. For less than the cost of your favorite 6 pack of beer, you can become a co-owner of a private island. I know. I know. There’s no way this is legit. Exactly what I thought but James Shamsi running the first EVER crowdfunding island purchase, thinks otherwise. “Our ultimate aim is for the everyday person to be able to cheaply experience what it’s like to live on a beautiful private island, while also raising millions for charity in the process.”
This campaign is pretty unique and is generously offering this private island to those of us who aren’t millionaires or billionaires. The average joe, the weekend warrior, the underdog. This is for you. This is for your happiness but also for charity. Yup, charity. With the purchase of the island, it will soon be developed and functioning as an affordable retreat. But get this, 100% of the profits made from the co-owners/visitors vacation dollars goes to charity. So while you go to your private island looking and feeling like Dan Bilzerian, you will be contributing to the betterment of the world. Furthermore, the campaign seeks to give free stay as often as possible to children and families with terminal illnesses.
So exactly how much does it cost to be a co-owner of this island? As I mentioned earlier, less than a 6-pack of beer at a whopping $1.
In closing I ask you this, Are you willing to drive past the dollar menu on your late night return from your softball league? Are you willing to bet one dollar less at your monthly poker game with the bros? and Are you willing to transfer that dollar to something beneficial? Something that will impact not only your life but the lives of the ones in need of charity? Kind of seems like a no brainer.
